We’re delighted to welcome Craig Duncan to the Gunther UK team as our new Technical Sales Representative.

Craig joined Gunther UK in February 2026 and brings 34 years of hands-on industry experience as a time-served toolmaker where he developed his expertise across a broad spectrum of manufacturing and disciplines. With strong technical knowledge and a practical, customer-focused approach, he supports customers across the UK with bolsters and mould components from KNARR and coupling solutions from RTC.

About Craig’s Role at Gunther UK

As Technical Sales Representative, Craig works closely with customers to understand their tooling and production requirements and provide tailored technical support for both of these product groups. Covering the whole of the UK and Ireland he gives the customer a direct contact person at Gunther UK Ltd who is able to quickly answer any queries and offer solutions.

Industry Experience and Background

Before joining Gunther UK, Craig built a successful career as a toolmaker, developing in-depth knowledge of mould design, manufacture, and optimisation. In addition to his strong engineering foundation, Craig has extensive experience in sales, customer support, and new business development, with a particular focus on tool steel and components for the moulding industry. He has worked closely with manufacturers, moulders, and tooling specialists, providing technical solutions and driving commercial growth.

Over the course of his career, he has held key positions including:

· Senior Toolmaker – leading complex tooling projects, precision manufacturing, and technical problem?solving.

· Regional Sales Manager – managing territories, developing customer relationships, providing technical sales support, and delivering commercial results.

Current Focus and Future Plans

Since joining the team, Craig has been focused on strengthening relationships and developing new opportunities.

Craig has focussed very much on both his and Gunther UK’s established contacts and will be developing these and meeting new ones over the coming months. The feeling from Craig and the team at Gunther UK is that the prospects for growth for both KNARR and RTC in the UK are huge.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Craig enjoys staying active and taking part in a wide range of sports. With a South African background he is an avid follower of both cricket and rugby,
